yesterday around 100 boys from communities 50 miles outside of Fresno boarded buses to come to Chukchansi Park to attend the Chevron Soccer Academy presented by @chevron, @opengoalproject, and @ffcfoxes. to make this clinic accessible to players from underserved communities and to make the experience a unique one for those players, the day was completely free of charge, was led by a number of current and former professional players, included lunch and dinner, featured the @chevron STEM Zone where players learned about science through the lens of soccer, and also came with tickets to the @ffcfoxes game that night. today we'll have the Chevron Soccer Academy girls day clinic. an incredible weekend and a big step forward for our mission to open goals, on and off the field, for talented young soccer players from underserved communities. repost photos from @ffcfoxes ...
