FRESNO - Due to a scheduling issue, the Sunday, May 20 doubleheader for the Fresno FC Ladies & U23 sides will be played at Clovis East High School's Varsity Soccer Field. The matches, originally scheduled for Fresno City College, are set to kick off at 2pm, with the Ladies side taking on Sacramento-area club California Storm, and the U23 side taking on PDL newcomers Breakers FC at 4pm. Both Fresno teams currently remain undefeated through the first 2 weeks of their respective seasons.
"We're very grateful to Clovis East High School for partnering with us on the change of venue," assistant GM Jeremy Schultz said. "The U23 and Ladies sides are an integral part of the local make-up of Fresno FC, consisting almost exclusively of players who have grown up in the Central Valley, and having community partners like Clovis Unified School District helps tremendously in providing a platform for our local players to shine."
