FRESNO - U.S. Soccer announced Wednesday the second-round pairings and host scenarios for the 2018 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Fresno Football Club will make its debut in U.S. Soccer's oldest knock-out tournament on May 16, when 22 teams from the United Soccer League (USL) enter the tournament to play against Open Division winners from the first round.

The Foxes are set to face the winner of Orange County FC (NPSL) and Santa Ana Winds FC (UPSL), with that match taking place May 9 in Southern California.

The first-round winner will then face Fresno FC at downtown Fresno’s Chukchansi Park in the U.S. Open Cup's Second Round. Kickoff is 7 p.m.

The May 16th winner will advance to the third round one week later on May 23.

The tournament officially kicks off May 6 with three play-in matches, followed by the first round on May 8 and 9.

Tickets for The Foxes' U.S. Open Cup match will become available for purchase in the coming weeks.  The match will also be included in all current Fresno FC season ticket holder packages.
