Los Zorros take their three-match unbeaten streak to Arizona against the defending Western Conference champions, Phoenix Rising FC on Saturday, April 6th. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at Casino Arizona Field. The game will be televised on CW 59 and ESPN Plus. Fresno FC (1W-0-2D) has conceded just two goals over its 270 total minutes played, putting Los Zorros at the top of the Western Conference defensively. That back line of Alex Cooper, Ramon Martin Del Campo, Mickey Daly, Zach Ellis-Hayden and goalkeeper CJ Cochran will battle one of the league's most productive offenses in Rising FC (0-0-3), which has scored eight goals in three games - setting a club record for most goals scored through the first three matches. Cochran was named to the USL team of the week in Week 3 for his seven saves against Reno, and has one clean sheet this season against RGV FC Toros. On the other end, Fresno's offense has been fueled by the efforts of Jackson (1 goal, 1 assist, 5 key passes), and Arun Basuljevic (2 goals). Solomon Asante, Adam Jahn, and Jason Johnson lead Rising FC with two goals apiece, with Asante also notching two assists. Last time the Foxes were in Phoenix, Jemal Johnson scored in the first half before Rising FC's Alessandro Riggi forced the draw with his goal in stoppage time. The Foxes avenged that draw with a 4-0 thumping last July at Chukchansi Park. This is the third meeting between the two sides, with Fresno leading the series at 1-0-1.
