FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno Football Club announced Wednesday it has signed former Indy Eleven midfielder Seth Moses, pending league and federation approval. The 25-year-old from Baltimore, Md., entered the Foxes’ preseason as a trialist before earning his way to a pro contract.
“Seth is the kind of player I’ve been searching for the entire offseason,” said head coach Adam Smith. “We were missing a destroyer in the midfield and Seth seems to be the person that fits the bill for that role. He tried out and has done extremely well for us. We’re very pleased to welcome him to our club for this upcoming season.”
In 2018, Moses made 21 appearances – 15 of which were starts – for Indy Eleven and played a total of 1,387 minutes. He spent the 2014 USL season at Orange County Blues (now Orange County SC) and made 23 appearances. In between those stints, he played the 2015 season at K-League club FC Anyang and in 2017 with the NASL’s Puerto Rico FC. Moses has also played abroad with Austrian side SC Rheindorf Altach and Swiss club USV Eschen/Mauren.
During the 2019 preseason, Moses started in four matches for the Foxes, including the club’s preseason opener against LA Galaxy II. He’s the latest midfield signing for Fresno FC, joining Jorge Escamilla, Hiroki Kurimoto, Arun Basuljevic, Emir Alihodzic, Diego Casillas, and Jackson, who were all signed this offseason.
Fresno FC official kicks off the USL Championship regular season this Saturday, March 9 at New Mexico United. The Foxes open at home on March 23 against Reno 1868 FC. Tickets for the full 2019 Season and single games are available now at 559-320-2525 or by visiting FresnoFC.com.
